Information we collect

When you use our website or virtual assistant, we may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, business name, details about your business and the content of your conversation with the assistant.

We may also collect limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the website and virtual assistant, such as timestamps, session information and basic device or browser information.

We do not currently use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide appropriate choices where required.

How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, arrange demonstrations, understand what support you are looking for, provide information about nolliv.ai, and operate and improve our website and virtual assistant.

We may review conversations with our assistant to understand whether it is answering appropriately, identify areas where its information could be improved, and understand the types of questions prospective customers ask.

We do not intend our website assistant to collect medical, financial or other sensitive personal information. Please do not include this type of information in your conversation.

Our lawful basis

Where you contact us or use our assistant to make an enquiry, we generally rely on our legitimate interests in responding to prospective customers and operating our business. Where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, we may rely on contractual necessity. If we ask for your consent for a specific purpose, such as optional marketing, you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share information with

We use trusted service providers to help operate nolliv.ai, which may include cloud hosting, AI technology providers, email and communications services, scheduling tools and other suppliers that support our website and business. These providers process information on our behalf only where necessary to provide their services. We do not sell your personal information.

AI provider

Our virtual assistant uses Anthropic's Claude API (the Claude Sonnet model) to understand questions and generate responses. Information you enter into the assistant is processed by Anthropic to provide that service.

Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through the Claude API is not used to train Anthropic's models, and API inputs and outputs are automatically deleted within approximately 30 days, except where longer retention is required to enforce Anthropic's usage policy or by law.

International data transfers

Some of our technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take appropriate steps to ensure the safeguards required by UK data protection law are in place. Further information about the safeguards used by our providers is available on request.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

We retain virtual assistant conversations in our own systems for 60 days. Separately, our AI provider (Anthropic) processes API data under its own commercial terms and deletes it within approximately 30 days. Contact and demo enquiries are retained for 90 days, unless they form part of an ongoing customer relationship or we are required to keep them for legal or business purposes.

We periodically review retained information and delete or anonymise information that is no longer required.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights relating to your personal information, including the right to request access, correction or deletion, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to request a copy of information you have provided. You can contact us at contact@nolliv.ai to exercise your rights. You also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as nolliv.ai develops. The latest version will always be available on this website.
